The Unburdened Mind: a group for the anxious
If you’re struggling with constant anxiety, racing thoughts, overthinking, or even the fear of a panic attack, you are not alone. The Unburdened Mind is a psychotherapy group designed to help you manage the overwhelming effects of anxiety, catastrophising, and constant worry. This group offers a safe, supportive space where you can open up, share your experiences, and connect with others who understand exactly what you're going through.
In this group, you'll not only find understanding and empathy, but also learn practical, evidence-based skills to manage anxiety and improve your mental well-being. These strategies will be introduced by the psychologist leading the group, and together we’ll work to develop and implement personalised treatment plans, helping you take control of your anxiety and regain a sense of peace.
Group therapy is particularly effective in breaking the cycle of social isolation and helps to build both social and interpersonal skills. If you struggle with social anxiety, this is a great opportunity to practice interacting in a safe environment with people who “get it,” while rebuilding your confidence in connecting with others.
If you're ready to tackle your anxiety, learn new coping skills, and find a community of support, The Unburdened Mind is here to help you begin your journey toward lasting change.
