What to expect
What happens in the first session?
During your initial session, you will be asked about the reasons for seeking psychological help and your goals. Your psychologist will inquire about your background, current life situation, and the challenges you are facing. This first session also allows you to understand and ask questions about the therapeutic process. You will receive several questionnaires to complete outside of the session time, provided by a member of our team.

What happens once I send my request for an appointment?
As far as possible, we strive to assist everyone who requests a booking, though there may occasionally be a wait. After you contact us, a member of our team will reach out to provide further information or request additional details needed to proceed with your booking. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a welcome pack, which includes forms to complete in preparation for your first session.
For those interested in group therapy, there may be a wait until we have found enough great people for your group. We will be in touch and let you know.

How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions needed varies for each individual. Some people achieve their goals in just a few sessions, while others may require longer-term support to address more complex issues.
Research indicates that some individuals may need ten or more sessions to reach their treatment outcomes. Therefore, all new clients are initially booked for a minimum of three additional sessions.
This approach ensures consistency in subsequent appointments, which can be canceled or rescheduled if necessary.
