Dr Suzanne Wilson

Dr. Suzanne Wilson is a dual-qualified Naturopath, Registered Acupuncturist and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) practitioner, practising at Unburden Psychology’s Rocklea consulting rooms. Suzanne integrates Eastern and Western natural medicine to support mental health — particularly when struggles have been chronic and are impacting physical health, fatigue, pain management, hormonal changes, skin health and digestion.

Her consultations are structured, analytical and tailored to your needs.

“Blending ancient wisdom with modern science has always felt natural to me. What matters most, though, is that you feel understood and supported during the process.

I believe in starting with what your body is already showing us. Your history, symptoms and existing pathology often provide strong direction. From there, we build clearly and methodically.

Learning has never stopped for me. Each stage of my training and clinical experience has shaped how I practise today. My goal is to bring clarity, structure and genuine care into every consultation.”

Suzanne’s practice is uniquely positioned within Unburden Psychology because the connection between emotional wellbeing and physical health is central to everything she does. Working alongside our team of psychologists, your care can be genuinely coordinated — where psychological therapy would support your healing, Suzanne can facilitate a warm referral to one of our clinicians, and vice versa. This integrated, trauma-informed approach means you have access to multidisciplinary care under one roof, something rarely available in a single setting.

What a consultation may include

  • Comprehensive Health Assessment: a detailed consultation to identify patterns and contributing factors

  • Pathology Interpretation: review of existing medical testing to uncover functional imbalances

  • Targeted Herbal, Nutritional and Acupuncture Support: herbal medicine, supplements, acupuncture and dietary strategies aligned with individual needs

  • Structured Wellness Plan: clear next steps with defined follow-up and practical implementation

Suzanne integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture with Naturopathy and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) when clinically appropriate, particularly in presentations involving:

  • Mental Health — anxiety, depression, trauma, stress

  • Skin Health — acne, dermatitis, eczema, perioral dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis

  • Reproductive Health — irregular periods, perimenopause, painful periods, PMOS (formerly PCOS), endometriosis
